And I know I'm taking the road right now. Bf, has recently started contributing a little more financially recently. He has also decided he wants to teach and go back to school to do so. That's a HUGE thing for him to actually decide anything. So I am supportive. He is great with my and their homework (and did I mention my got rave reviews? LOL! He definately was a contributor to that). Within the past week, I have gotten bold with my bf. Since he can't move much anyhow, we'll what happens The pain thing I usually don't bring up. Either way, I I'm stuck with that and am doing what I can do deal with it (soy milk sucks, btw ). Yeah, but it does annoy me. My caretaking personality comes from a childhood of being more of an adult by first grade than my parents ever were. Grocery shopping, diaper changing, meal-prep, housework. By 10, it was pay across the Northwest side of Chicago via my 10spd. Usually a few. And, of course, the aforementioned chores. By 16, I was the only one in my household working and caring for my brothers. By 16 , the state stepped in. My brothers got put in care, I got put in a girls home. I ran away the next day. Homeless for a bit, but I got my ass a full-time job, apt, car, finished my senior year, graduated high school. By 18, I tried to legally adopt my brothers. No go. My parents actually got them back. (But, they still suck.) I know I'm a total caretaker. I understand homeless people more than most. I understand mental-illness and am terrified of it (hence the shrink). I have trouble relating to people my own age because, inside, I think I'm about 50yo already (though feeling yo some days. LOL!). The shrink knows all this. We're workin' on it.
